2025 Kanazawa University Giving Campaign [Campaign Period: Until 9:00 PM on October 19]

Event Details

“Giving Campaign 2025,” one of the largest student-led fundraising events in Japan, has officially launched on October 10. This online charity event brings together 110 universities from across the country, where student organizations gather support and raise funds for their activities.
From Kanazawa University, approximately 50 groups—including officially recognized extracurricular organizations and research laboratories—are participating in the campaign. You can view the list of participating groups here.?

The number of support votes each group receives will determine the amount of sponsorship funding allocated to them by partner companies. Casting a free support vote directly contributes to helping students achieve their goals and continue their activities.
In addition to supporting student initiatives in sports, culture, volunteer work, and research, the funds will also be used to aid relief efforts for the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake and the 2024 Heavy Rain Disaster in Oku-Noto.

In last year’s Giving Campaign, Kanazawa University received support from 11,782 individuals, ranking 4th in total votes among 100 participating universities.
In addition, the amount of donations reached 2,910,500 yen, making it the third largest among 100 participating universities.
We received many messages of support, which were a source of encouragement both for the participating students and for the university.
